This tutorial was written on March 31st, 2007 by me. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental. Supplies needed are here: Tube of choice Scrap Paper provided by DigiScrapz Masks Font of choice Eye Candy 4 Open a 600 X 600 image floodfill with white. (We can resize later) Take your tube and copy and paste into the image as a new layer. Open the scrap paper provided in a new window. We will resize it in just a bit. Go to layers, load/save mask and load mask from disk. Choose paintsplatter with these settings:
Go to your layers, delete the mask and merge group. Resize it to your liking and copy and paste over to your the image we're working on. Place it wherever you'd like, duplicate and place in a different place. Once you're happy with that choose the 2nd scrap paper. Again, go to layers, load/save mask and load mask from disk. Choose the mask ~Goldy and apply these settings:
Go to your layers, delete the mask and merge group. Resize to your liking and copy and paste over to our image. While the heart mask is still selected, go to layers, and load/save mask again. This time look for the mask winni.mask.101.22.jpg and apply these settings:
Resize to your liking and go to layers, delete mask and merge group. Apply a drop setting of 2, 2, 55, 5, black on all layers except the last mask we did. I used the font bickley script for the name size was 200. I chose a color from the tube as my background and white for the foreground. I then went to effects, eye candy 4, gradient glow and used these settings:
Then I applied these settings:
Then for the next step choose the red for the glow. Once you've done that, go back to the first scrap we used (dots) resize it til its about 300 x 300 Go to your materials. Go to your text, choose the wand, and click inside the text. Change the foreground to pattern and find the scrap pattern. Background will be nil. With the marching ants around your text, floodfill with the pattern. Then go to effects, drop shadow and apply these settings 2x - 3, 3, 55, 5.
